Dr. Sean Skinner

Dr. Sean Skinner has been living, serving, and practicing chiropractic in southwest Virginia since 2009. Those who know him would describe him as family-focused, athletic, and authentic. He is a native of Seneca Falls New York, home of his alma mater Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly known as New York Chiropractic College).

He is a 2005 graduate of Ithaca College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. While in undergrad, he also played four years of football for the Bombers as a defensive end. Dr. Skinner then attended Northeast College of Health Sciences and graduated Magna Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Dr. Skinner was drawn to chiropractic care because he wanted a career where he was inspiring people to improve the quality of their lives with a natural hands-on approach. Not only that, as an athlete he relied on Chiropractic care to help him overcome multiple sports injuries. It also helped that he grew up in a town full of Chiropractors and Chiropractic students since Northeast College was essentially in his backyard.

Outside of his working hours, Dr. Skinner spends a lot of time with his family and outdoors. He prioritizes his own health and fitness by hiking with his family, lifting weights, running, biking and playing golf. He has even completed the Ironman 70.3 in the greater Roanoke area. He lives in Salem, VA with his wife Kristin and children Ella, Molly and Collin.

In early 2025 Dr. Skinner joined the Adjust Clinics team after being friends with Dr. Brooke (Adjust NRV) since 2009 and also colleagues for a portion of that time. Like all of us at Adjust Clinics, he believes in inspiring others toward better health.
